Whether or not you choose to stay with us, we will be happy to help you get the excursion that suits your interests. Why not try one of these? Prices are in US$ and are per person. All prices include pick-up and drop-off from our hostel or from any hotel in the Punta Cana/Bávaro area. On certain excursions special rates are available for guardians and caregivers.

Saona – $85

  • With its swaying palms, powder-white sands and azure blue waters, Saona Island (Isla Saona) is the postcard image of a tropical island, so much so that it’s been the setting for numerous film and photo shoots over the years. Reachable only by boat, the Caribbean island makes a popular choice for a day trip from Punta Cana and it’s an idyllic retreat for those seeking a beach getaway.
  • Cruise to the island by catamaran or speedboat. Once you arrive you can spend the day strolling the beaches, lazing on the sand or swimming in the warm waters. Saona Island is also part of the Del Este National Park and well known for its eco-diversity, with popular activities including bird watching, scuba diving and snorkeling. During your trip you will be treated to a visit to the Natural Pool. The trip includes a shopping spree (tourist items);
    unlimited local beverages while on board and while on the beach; a
    buffet lunch on the island;

Santo Domingo – $90

  • Visit beautiful Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, and enjoy its rich culture and great historical past. See the famous sights in this “City of Firsts”—founded by Bartholomew Columbus in 1496—including a cathedral, hospital, and university.
  • Notice the mixture of old and new as you enter the first continuously-inhabited European settlement in the Americas. As the first seat of Spanish colonial rule in the New World, Santo Domingo is a city of many firsts for the Americas. Visit Colonial Town to tour the first Cathedral of the Americas, and then pass the first street, the first university, and the first hospital of the New World.
  • Stop for lunch along the ancient cobblestone streets and watch as luxury cars share the roads with horse-drawn carriages. Then visit the oldest Viceregal residence in the Americas, the Columbus House, before your group makes the journey back to Punta Cana. Come and enjoy the island’s largest city.
  • The itinerary: Departing from your hotel, in comfortable and modern buses. Accompanied by an expert guide, we will first visit the Colonial City, arrive at the Lighthouse to Colon where the remains of Christopher Columbus rest, then visit the Cathedral of Santo Domingo, primate of America and El Alcázar de Colon, located in the beautiful Plaza de España, Built by Bartolomé Colon, converted into a museum as it looked in those years and with all its original relics.
  • A walk along Calle de las Damas, the most romantic part of the city, we will visit the Museum of Amber, a yellowish brown stone formed by the resin of trees and whose main characteristic is that it frequently contains fossils of insects and small plants now extinct. It is the national gemstone. We will then have free time to shop in different typical gift shops and will be able to purchase the famous Limé dolls, handicrafts and Dominican paintings as well rum and Dominican coffee.

  • Take the Big Truck Adventure Safari! This is like a crash course in Dominican life, culture, traditions, homes, and more! You will see plantations, typical country homes, Dominican cacao, Caribbean coffee, beaches, and other points of interest.
  • You will be allowed to make purchases of different local produce and products.
  • Supreme Safari is a great opportunity to discover the Dominican Republic its people, its culture and the lifestyle of Dominicans. You will visit a school where you will see the children and learn about the Dominican educational system. Supreme Safari Punta Cana will also take you to the city of Higüey where you will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Altagracia and you will know about its history and its architecture.
  • Returning to the field you will delight in a delicious typical Dominican lunch. Then you can take a horseback ride or take a nap in hammocks. You end the tour with a refreshing swim at a beautiful beach.   • There is also a beautiful park where you can visit with parrots, watch a wonderful bird show, view a Taino display and more! It is a huge theme park dedicated to the fauna and flora of the Dominican Republic.
  • Manati Park is more than just a zoo. The goal of Manatí Park is for each visitor to coexist and experience in the rich nature of this region of the country. There are themed shows and shows that involve animals and people. All is set in a truly fine environment worthy of a tropical paradise. Ideal for family outings.
  • Inside the park, visitors can watch animal shows such as dancing horses, parrot pirouettes, dolphins playing, sea lions, and more! The dolphin and sea lion shows are interactive.
  • It also offers shows aimed at getting to know the culture and folklore of the Dominican Republic, such as the show of Poblado Taíno where you can see the beautiful ritual dances of the ancient natives of this region.
  • Another interesting and highly promoted attraction of Manatí Park is swimming with dolphins, where the visitor will have the unique experience of swimming along with the dolphins in a swimming pool, under the supervision of caregivers and experts.
  • In addition to the dolphins, visitors have the possibility of being in direct contact with animals, being able to touch and pet some of them. For example, you can interact with iguanas, flamingos, exotic birds, snakes, sea lions, crabs … all under close supervision of experts and caregivers.


Zipline Adventure – $90

  • Feel the exhilaration of Zipline tours! Fly through the rain forest canopy on a zipline adventure during this 5-hour activity. Traverse from platform to platform in the forest. Expert adventure guides will give a safety lecture and perform a full safety check before you fly. Along the way, look out for native flora and fauna in the topical forest.
  • The tour consists of 15 platforms and 8 cable lines, where you’ll slide among the treetops and across open mountain valleys. The longest cable measures some than 2,500 ft, that’s more than 7 city blocks!
  • To arrive at this excursion, you will travel approximately 1.5 hours from your resort into the Dominican Republic’s Oriental Mountain Range. Once you arrive, it is surely worth the wait! Enjoy the silence, enjoy the beauty and enjoy the breathtaking views!
  • Our expert canopy guides will teach you all you need to know about the ride and the equipment.
  • You will be transferred to the Welcome Center, where a safety briefing will be conducted until reaching the first platform, and then be ready to face the challenge of “flying” from one platform to another.

  • Catalina Island, or Serena Key as the grower lines are called in their programs, is a beautiful white sand island near the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic. It is a protected Natural Park where, of course, there is no building allowed. Unknown to many travel agents and tourists, the beach is completely protected from the wind, thanks to which, the sea is always in absolute calm.
  • Departure in the early hours of the morning from hotels Punta Cana and Bayahibe, in buses with all comfort and air conditioning, to reach the wonderful city of La Romana. Upon arrival at the port we will embark on the Catamaran with all the fun of our animators who will take us to one of the most beautiful coral reefs in the Dominican Republic, where they will be able to do Diving and Snorkeling.
  • Then we will continue to Catalina Island to enjoy a refreshing swim, while anyone who wants can also snorkel. You will eat a delicious lunch buffet after which you can take some classes in merengue and bachata dancing, while enjoying a few drinks.
  • In the afternoon you will return in your Catamaran to the Port of La Romana to where you will transfer to your bus for the return trip to your hotel.

  • Fly down the Farallon Zip Line, a unique adventure attached to a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea. During this 6-hour adventure in Cap Cana, cross suspension bridges and eco-trails with photo-perfect scenery. Zoom down ziplines stretching 1,500 feet (457 meters) before pausing for a light lunch. Visit Hoyo Azul, a natural spring-fed lagoon at the base of a towering cliff, for a refreshing swim.

  • Visit the countryside with panache! This excursion is a real gas!
  • From our ranch in Macao, we go roaring through the remote farmland of northern Punta Cana, passing palm trees and tobacco plantations with the Oriental Mountain Range deep in the background. The narrow, secluded country roads offer a safe haven for deep pools of mud that we’ll go barging through again and again. At first, you may try and avoid the mud, but soon you’ll be glad to get down and dirty!
  • Our first stop is at a quaint country ranch for an introduction on local produce like cocoa, coffee, tobacco and Mamajuana (a Dominican aphrodisiac elixir). From the ranch, we go off-road again as we make our way to a hidden cave with a natural swimming pool. Jump in and cool off in this clean and refreshing underground water source.
  • The longest stretch of our drive is also the largest contrast. From the hidden countryside cave, we retrace our muddy path, and then some, to the shores of the photogenic Macao Beach. Here, we’ll have time to enjoy one of the most breathtaking seaside views in Punta Cana.

Parque nacional Cuevas de las Maravillas – call or write for pricing

  • Discovered in the early 1900’s this became a national park in 1997. The beauty of this cave is the mirror-like pools reflecting the ceiling relief of the stalactites and beautiful rock formations. There are 472 pictographs and 10 petroglyphs left behind hundreds of years ago by the Taino – the first human inhabitants of this island.
  • Above ground there are groups of iguanas, flora, and a very educational museum.

  • We will take you from your hotel to the south end of the coast of Punta Cana. We start the day with a brisk walk to the peak of El Farallón. Here a hike through pristine tropical forests where our guide will bring to life all the flora and fauna: natural medicines, herbs, barks and many plants that are still used today by natural healers throughout the Dominican Republic.
  • Approximately 25 minutes of hiking, you will arrive at the entrance of the Iguabonita cave. There is no need to rappel, there is one like an ecological staircase leading to other stretches of the cave. Our trained spelunkers will guide you through ancient cave formations below. Admire the bats in the depths of the cave and Taino Indian petroglyphs. Our departure takes us to a totally different part of the cave. The return hike will follow the same path, for approximately 20 minutes, until we reach our base. Here, let’s relax for a 30-minute break to enjoy a snack.
  • We begin the walk through an ecological trail of both dry and humid forests, where you will have the opportunity to visit an orchid, bromeliad, fern, Cactus and endemic plant station, making a brief stop at each station and learn all about Of these fascinating species. While this part of the tour has an emphasis on observing the plant species mentioned above, the nature of the places we visit are full of flowers and wild plants, as well as an incredible landscape of all kinds.

  • This is a private tour. You will be picked up in a private car at 7:00 AM and taken to Santo Domingo. There you will start with a visit to Los Tres Hojos National Park. This is a Jurassic Park-like experience taking you underground through caves leading to four limpid pools of cool, clean water. For those who wish to do so, you cannot swim in any of the pools, even though they look so very refreshing!
  • The final stop on this part of the tour is found across an underground pond on a small raft. On the far side you will visit a scene straight out of Jurassic Park! Its tranquil beauty will make you want to stay there all day. But alas, you can’t as we need to move on in our agenda.
  • After a leisurely lunch we will progress to the Bethel in Santo Domingo. You will be allowed to change in the bathrooms just off the main lobby. Afterward the brothers will supply you with a guide taking you around the Bethel and Assembly Hall installations.
  • You should arrive back at your hotel by supper time. The entire trip lasts 10-12 hours – depending on traffic and other factors.
